Artist Statement

I am a multidisciplinary artist, poet, coach, and facilitator who loves a good question. My endless curiosity has me constantly exploring new what-ifs, then iterating them till they delight me. Working along the road between joy and grief, I invite people to explore their journey through art, poetry, experiences, and conversation. The stories we carry with us shape us in rich and deep ways. Even the painful ones, in time, can be transformed for our greater good. There are treasures to be discovered and created wherever we are at on the way.

I support survivors of domestic violence, focusing on AAPI women of faith navigating emotional abuse. This violence has been part of my history as well, and I continue to find wholeness and healing on the other side. As a result of my experiences, my work is trauma-informed and spiritually rooted.

Media are chosen that best equip each artwork to say what it needs to say. Any medium, conventional or otherwise, is fair game. Time, space, and people are my favorites. They allow me to create dialogue, spaces, and experiences where people can find clarity about the connections that are important to them, explore possibilities for what could be, and step through to what's next.

I love words and the particular kind of music they create. My poetry gets written anywhere: waiting in lines, walking down the street, on hold for that customer service agent - and on anything: my phone, napkins in restaurants, backs of receipts, post-it notes. You never know when inspiration strikes.

My work is a window into thoughtful, deeper reflection that explores fresh perspectives, making connection with new insight and transformation possible.

It is my deepest joy to create generative conversations that matter, and to connect you more deeply with your own creativity.
